Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is best known for films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz as a child. She played lead roles in television dramas as early at the age of 16. Her critically acclaimed role in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like that of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the commercially and critically profitable Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. Other Oscar nominated film starring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects.
